"The Aim of Pegasus Natural Horsemanship is to lead by example and not by force" What we must remember is that every horse is different. However sometimes the very essence of what a horse is can result in a lot of behavioural problems, his freedom of spirit, his sensitivity, his need to be able to run. These are the things we find challenging and difficult to cope with, the things we love so much in our horses can be the source of our frustration, confusion and fear. But it doesn’t have to be like that as long as you are willing to change. We look at how the horses establish hierarchy and how to offer them leadership that creates trust and confidence by gaining this knowledge the fear and frustration so common between human and horse, becomes a thing of the past as you discover the keys to body language a soft feel, lightness, balance leadership, trust and confidence
Outstanding results can be achieved through learning why and how to control the footfall, understanding the horses language, developing a soft feel, balance and timing. We teach theses skills on the ground first and then apply them to riding, incorporated in these are issues like approach and retreat, how to read body language, you personal space, how to create a soft feel.
